Basics
Storage unit and houses
Have you collected rare, time consuming materials? Is your inventory full? The bank can offer you a safe to keep your goods. To buy a storage unit interact twice with the door, the price is listed in the chat. Once bought the safe door can only be opened by the respective owner. Note that temporarly it is not possible to sell these back or to sell/give to other players.
Get into the game
First thing first. Moving around and building airships.
Please refer to the official guide on the SkyNations Wiki: Getting started
Settlements ( as New Port, where the spawn is ) are protected areas which means that you can't fly your ship above or under it, you can't destroy blocks and no harm can be done to other players.
First and successive spawns
At your first spawn on the server you will be given the essential items to begin your adventure
- Mallet
- Ship reedem coupon
- 0 Caps
Cap is the in-game currency
The coupon will not be seen into your inventory. To reedem your ship go to the port and speak with the shipyard manager.

Now that you have your first ship you are ready to set sail!
Be careful with your ship as this is the only one you will get for free.
From your second spawn onward you will only receive a mallet.
On death you will loose all your inventory, if you died on land your items and materials will stay dropped there for little time so
hurry up! Note that the balance won't be affected as it is well stored in your bank account.

The prices listed in the game refer to the in-game currency : Caps. How can you get more Caps ? Jobs and collecting-selling.
Working NPC will gladly accept some help in exchange for Caps, " /ask about job " to knowwhat you have to do and what your income will be, you can start right after. Temporarly the only NPC offering a job is the lumberjack in New Port.
Selling what you strenously collected is maybe the first source of income in the game. To sell your goods find the NPC who trades in those and use the command lines " /ask info " to check the price and " /ask sell " followed by quantity and name of the good. Note that if the merchants as enough stock of the good he won't buy.
NPCs and Jobs
Different NPCs are scattered through the settlement. To interact you have to use your command console.
To open the command console and chat press Enter then type " /help " to view the command lines, now place yourself in front of the desired NPC and type " /ask info " to list the available command lines for the NPC, he will answer you on the local chat. To find the NPCs location on your current settlement find the Tourist Guide and type " /ask about NPC ".

Pricing
The buying price and selling price, at the merchant, of the same good are obviously different but both the selling and buying price, at the merchant, are variables. Dependent on the stock amount of the good, the merchant will choose between three different prices. Also note that the merchants won't buy the good if his stock is full.
